Located in the county of Newell, Brooks Alberta Canada is a growing city east of Calgary, it's growing with people re-locating to it all the time. Brooks Alberta was officially established in about 1910 with that area originally being buffalo hunting ground for the tribes of Blackfoote and Crowe. In the 1970's and the 1980's Brooks Alberta saw significant growth due to its oil and gas industry. Brooks Alberta is not a large town, but they have lots to offer and it's a truly beautiful part of the country. It is also close to Dinosaur Park which is the world's largest deposit of late crustaceous dinosaur fossils. It is also located near Lake Newell which is a popular spot among fishermen and campers. This is a beautiful and peaceful place to go if you need a vacation away from things. Even though it is a smaller town, there are still things to do.
There's plenty of shopping, and a lot of beautiful parks to visit. Brooks Alberta has a water park, a resort and a museum. The Brooks Alberta people are kind and welcoming, so if you're tired of living in the big city and wanting to move to a place that has a friendlier, slower pace, Brooks Alberta might be just the place for you.
